Khalid Stationery | Eezee-it

Khalid Stationery is a leading Saudi Arabian distributor of stationery and school supplies, operating under the Leeno and JARA brands. With a strong presence in major cities including Riyadh, Dammam, and Jeddah, the company serves both retail and wholesale customers. Known for its wide catalog of SKUs and a reputation built over decades, Khalid Stationery offers a robust range of products tailored to students, offices, and educational institutions. Their multibrand approach and commitment to nationwide accessibility have positioned them as a reference player in the stationery distribution sector across the Kingdom.

Challenge

To support its multichannel expansion and improve operational performance, Khalid Stationery needed to unify its IT backbone and gain centralized control over a highly fragmented system landscape.

The company faced four major challenges:

  • Fragmented inventory and POS systems across multiple branches
  • Limited visibility across B2B and B2C operations
  • Manual coordination between wholesale and retail workflows
  • Difficulty scaling with a rapidly growing SKU base

With operations spanning cities and customer types, Khalid Stationery needed a solution that would not only support both retail stores and wholesale distribution, but also scale with their expansion goals.

Solutions

Solution Founder implemented a comprehensive Odoo-based ERP system to streamline Khalid Stationery’s retail and wholesale operations. The implementation focused on three strategic pillars:

1Centralized Inventory & Sales Management

At the heart of the transformation was a centralized inventory system covering all branches and warehouses. From Dammam to Jeddah, stock levels are now updated in real-time, supporting seamless inter-branch transfers and restocking.

  • Unified tracking across thousands of SKUs
  • Automated stock alerts and replenishment rules
  • Live data for both warehouse and shop-floor teams

This centralization reduced overstocking and eliminated stockouts, while giving sales teams access to real-time availability across locations.

2Unified POS and Branch Operations

Solution Founder rolled out a cloud-based Odoo POS across all retail outlets, connecting sales, inventory, and customer data under one system. Retail employees can now access customer histories, loyalty programs, and inventory in one interface.

  • Instant checkout and customer account lookup
  • Support for promotions, bundle pricing, and multiple payment methods
  • Integration with mobile devices for in-store flexibility

This resulted in consistent customer experiences across branches and simplified training for frontline staff.

3Dual B2B & B2C Enablement

Khalid Stationery’s operations blend B2C (retail stores) and B2B (school and institutional supply contracts). The new ERP allows both business lines to run on a shared platform, while catering to their distinct requirements.

  • Custom quotation workflows for B2B clients
  • Scheduled deliveries and order approvals for institutions
  • Immediate invoicing and receipt printing for retail

This dual-channel setup ensures that both sides of the business benefit from shared data and automation, without compromising on flexibility.

Result

End-to-end synchronization. Simplified operations. Increased agility.

The implementation of Odoo by Solution Founder has significantly improved operational efficiency and business responsiveness. Key results include:

  • Real-time visibility across branches
Centralized data allows regional managers and HQ to monitor stock, sales, and customer trends instantly, leading to faster decisions.
  • Increased retail checkout speed
With the modern POS, in-store checkout times were reduced, improving customer satisfaction and shortening queues during peak periods.
  • Enhanced B2B client management
Sales teams can now track institution-specific price lists, delivery schedules, and order histories directly from the system.
  • Streamlined procurement and replenishment
Automatic reorder rules now align with real-time demand data, minimizing manual work and reducing holding costs.

These operational gains have freed up resources and empowered both retail and wholesale teams to focus on customer relationships and revenue-generating activities.
